Delayed in Posting

Again things have been a little crazed for me between a new boyfriend online and having some jaw pains & fatigue in real life. I will try to get at least one post up sometime this week. I may just do some simpler posts for my fashion part of this blog since I find in like the past week that I am not much in a creative space in my mind to design anything. Just a little update is that new affiliates and movable beach balls are being sold at my studio so feel free to come by anytime to grab those fun beach balls I designed with some of my favorite texture blends I have done. They are only L$5 so that is a mega good deal for a fatpack of beach balls. They are copyable but no modify and no transfer. If your friends would like a copy then they will have to come to the studio and buy a fatpack for themselves. Sadly I do not have the time to keep up with offline notecards of people asking me to send them a free copy to a friend. Between my love life, modeling shifts, and real life stuff I really have no time to keep track of such things. Notecards are accepted at the mailbox at my studio for profile portraits you need and I do check it at least twice a day. Thank you and I will have a new blog post up soon.

A Lil Neko Still In Me

I work at the most unique and highest quality neko clothing store in all of Second Life called Bitter Bunnie Designs owned by the ultra talented Telle Trezuguet. She makes it her mission to bring the best designs of the neko realm to the masses. New clothing comes out more often than the seasons change. If you are a neko then this is the premiere store to go to for all your neko shopping needs. I don't just say that because I model here but due to it being a fact that you will get nothing but the best here. Almost all of the outfits cost L$290 which is quite a bargain for the high level of quality that she puts into each clothing she designs. Many try to duplicate her work but totally fail since she puts her own artistic talents into them. I may not be a full time neko on Second Life anymore but I wanted to show off this outfit in all its neko glory but I do wear it with my fawn look nowadays.

Faerytale Ever After

One night I decided to do a little exploring before I headed to bed in real life. I tend to make good use of the destination guide when I want to find a place I have never been to before. Well seeing the title of destination being "Once upon a time" got my attention as quick as a cheetah run. It is a place created by the people of KMADD for some future events but they invite everyone to come now to explore all around the sim and simply relax. You get immersed into the faerytale land instantly upon landing at the area the destination guide teleport button take you to. Only complaint I had was that I wished the texture of the ground rezzed better but then I have low graphics in my preferences due to being on a laptop so I will never judge it by that. They didn't leave many of the well known faerytales out of this themes sim. As I walked through I saw the magical rose from Beauty & the Beast, a faerytale book, lil cottages that I assumed were for the dwarves from Snow White, glass coffin from Snow White & the Seven Dwarves, and a pond with a mermaid in it to represent Little Mermaid. I don't remember it all because it was a couple nights ago but I know that I liked it very much and will most likely go to it again one day soon. Not to mention that the lag is not bad at all considering all the objects in it that animate. Thank you KMADD for designing such a beautiful sim straight from faerytales. Belt Me Up Baby

I got this for a club event once which was called straps & chains but I ended up absolutely liking this dress for everyday wear. It is a seductive piece of a dress that shows alot of skin. I feel the clothing at Wild Serenity are unique in quite a bit of ways from the intricate accents to the flowing flext skirts that are like they being blown lightly by the wind.

Life of a Photography Designer

It has been my dream for so many years to be able to do my graphic and web design for the masses so I can show off my talents which when I had to leave college again due to astronomical amount of student loans as well as health reasons then I never thought my dreams would ever come true. I was inspired to go back into designing after a long hiatus when a fellow designer friend of mine told me I should seriously get back into graphic design since I was going batty after failing in getting a college degree again. Graphic design is a constant improving and learning experience for me. I tend to be amazing with texture blending by merely using uncopyrighted pictures I find on the internet along with some effects to make it pop so to speak. I enjoy making up quotes to add to the designs but sometimes I do use already developed quotes especially if a client ask me to. My inspirations have always been the ones I love in my life, nature, and my pets. Of course there is always designs that tended to look better in my mind when I envision them but once when I finish it then it doesn't exactly look like what I had hoped it would. Second Life has given me the opportunity to be a graphic designer in-world and share my talents with clients who order profile portraits from me. I have had only two clients so far but the joy in their words when I send them the completed designs is the most wonderful thing in my life to hear. It is even better when the client wears the designs I did for them because it proves how pleased they are. I always profile perv to see if they are wearing what I made since it makes me beam a smile just seeing that. Mermaid Becomes Human Faery

So I was talking to someone today and mentioned how a relative of mine in real life always used to call me a "mermaid" because I like the water so much. Morbid Elegance

Yeah I have this thing about wearing black a lot of the time in real life and there are times when I wear it a lot on Second Life as well. I don't know why it is but I like to say it is the morbid side of my personality that is attracted to black or dark colored clothes. I don't wear dresses much at all in real life which is most likely why in Second Life I absolutely adore dressing up all pretty in a nice dress or gown.

Truly A Sad Moment

With a heavy heart and lots of tears, Club Exotico is closing its doors with hopes of returning sometime in the future. Ronin and nene were owners of it which they became two of the greatest friends that a gal could ever ask for in this crazy virtual world. I discovered Club Exotico through a deejay that I enjoyed listening to whenever I got the chance. I started going there in early June 2011 and last nite of February 1, 2012 it was announced in a staff meeting that the club would be closing due to real life needing to come first which is totally understandable. I am not going to write a long drawn out post about it because I am truly deeply saddened to hear the club I loved so much fading away into a thick fog. How do you say goodbye to a club that has touched your soul so immensely? Well you really can't but rather you try to breathe deeply, shed the tears of loss, then try to find a way to live without that huge part of your life for almost 2 years. I feared this time coming for a couple of months now and kept saying to myself that it would never happen but alas it did. I only got to see Ronin, nene, and the rest of the friends I made there when we had club events but now that it is closing I feel like those dearest friendships with fade like the club will be in like a week. I'm not a club goer which is pretty self evident to anyone who knows me well. However, I would always go to Club Exotico and I felt so special being a hostess & promoter there that I never have nor never will feel again at any other club. I only went back into working at a club for the love of Ronin and nene because I wanted to help make it a success with large crowds like I remembered it. My heart just aches with sadness and emptiness at the closing of the club. A day I thought only happened in my nitemares but unfortunately came true. Now like my other nitemares recently, I fear they will one by one all come true. Honestly, I don't know how I am going to keep coming onto Second Life without crying at the loss of a place I kept so close to my heart. The memories will live forever and I hoping that the friends I made there will make time to hang out with me and talk to me without the club being around. It is the people that I am going to miss beyond the club closing sadness. Without them in my life then there is nothing but emptiness in my soul.

Welcome to Fashion Realm

Okay so I have written a blog that is full of my opinions for the longest time now but I felt it was time to show off some of the fashions that I adore wearing. Second Life is a great place to be casual, classy, sexy, or so on at any given moment. I won't be babbling much in this blog but just showing off my graphic design skills with every blog post that I will be wearing some of my favorite old and new outfits. I will be posting a list of where everything was bought with Second Life map links so you can go find them and wear them yourself. A forewarning is that I will not post my skin, shape, or fawn gear names and links. I feel that it is important to remain as unique as possible in Second Life and posting such things will just allow people to become copycats of our own selves. I will say it right now that my shape is custom made so no one can copycat it, my everyday skin is from a popular skin shop, and soon I will have a tattoo custom made designed by Artman Diavolo. Duplicating my look when I have no clothes on is not welcome ever. Thankies and enjoy my fashion posts.

Schoolgirlish

I have always had an adoration for plaid or argyle fabrics. Usually you see them in just skirts or flannel shirts but this one is a full on plaid delight. It is a lucky chair prize from Alterego. I have become a big fan of Alterego's stuff in the past few months. For a business that has been only around for a year, I have to say that I have been nothing less than impressed by what Toxxic designs there.

High Waist Fashion

The best part of being a fawn elf is that I was able to discover all new fashions that I never knew existed as a neko. I was beyond thrilled when I found the store of Epic because they know how to make a fantasy like avatar look feel so special. I have to admit that there isn't many fawn loving stores out there on Second Life which I hope in the future that will change. I never imagined that I would like the whole high-waisted look in anything I wear since it seems so vintage and I never wear vintage things in Second Life or real life. Simply put I fell in love with these pants.
