A choice to work while you are on Second Life is something that comes almost to pass when you have this need to do anything where you feel a reason to log on everyday. It is not necessary to some to ever work while others want to extend their life on here by being in the virtual work environment. People will first do jobs at clubs to make lindens in order to buy things or pay for rent on land/houses they are living in on here. I had worked for a club as my very first job experience on here. I'd made the mistake of working too many hours per day that topped at 12 hours some days. You come to the realization that this job just ain't worth spending majority of your awake time being basically a slave to a virtual job that you have to quit it. I was burnt out for about 3 months before I left that club job then took me 2 months to even find myself applying for another club job. There has to be limits set for yourself if you decide to do work on Second Life because otherwise your virtual life will become just as stressful as real life. One of the reasons to be on Second Life is to sort of escape all the stuff that plagues you in real life. Working on here ain't worth getting yourself sick over even if you need the lindens to support your virtual lifestyle. Right now I currently hold 3 jobs in this realm and I have been content so far. I have found that modeling on here is the best outlet for me in the form of working. However, I have taken up a hostess job once again at a new club which has become a place full of energy that I feed upon while working to keep me happy there. When choosing a job on here, you have to make sure that you have set schedule where you still have time for other things in both worlds and there are rules in place to follow. I can't even express how much rules are needed in the virtual workplace since I have worked for a place that rules I thought were rock steady set in place ended up being changed or broken by other staff members but the owner didn't even care. I'd also like to express how you need to work for a place that respects all of the staff as well as the customers because respect matters more than lindens after all. Not many know what to expect before they enter jobs on here but you will learn quick enough where you don't want to work, how long you don't need to work, and when to just take a break from working. Virtual Work Revealed

Sex in Second Life
Yeah this is probably going to be the most controversial topic I have decided to post on this blog so far but it needs to be talked about. There are good and bad parts to engaging in the sexual aspects of Second Life. I have learned a lot of what I want to discuss from experience in the past year on this realm. Sadly the downsides of sex on this realm are brought about by people who think that doing another person's pixels is some sort of fun and games. Believe me when I tell you that simply having sex with another pixel on here can feel quite similar to the hellish way one feels when they have a one-night stand. Yes there are escorts who make a living on here basically sexually gratifying another but I personally think it is a waste of resources to go that route. I know some people will take offense to me saying that so go ahead and get upset. Remember these are my opinions in the end. You can have approximately 30 minutes or more of sex on here which it takes a good amount of typing to actually get any gratification from it unless you voicing but that is another topic altogether. Second Life sex is basically cyber sex except you have pixels acting out what you type out. I admit that being on poseballs with another pixel can be quite erotic. However if emotions ain't in it then its just senseless rolling in the hay so to speak. I have been with a few men since my very first month in this realm but unless both of the people behind the pixels love each other where it has been expressed in either words or actions then you will find yourself feeling empty or like crap or both. It is what i call "intimacy" online where two souls interact in those sexual acts on here with the love behind it. Most of the sexual encounters I have had without love involved I had ended up regretting. I have to be honest about that. At some point the men I have been with will read this and be like what the hell to the words I have said but let's face it they didn't feel nothing for me on their end either. No this is not some sort of revenge trip. I have no reason to write such revenge stuff because I am in all honesty fully with my current guy. Temptations that run by me are just that and every day that passes I cling to the love I do have while I hope that I never give into frivolous temptations ever again. I respect the lives of those I have done sexual encounters with in the past but what is past is past and I am sure those men feel the same way.
Some people on Second Life have been through so much pains in relationships that they do turn to the same sex now. I actually can see why they do. When you are with someone of your same sex in this realm then in many ways you get the understanding behind it of how it feels to have been hurt or used. I am not speaking of people who have always been homosexual or bisexual. Rather I am talking about those who just get tired of the games when they were with the opposite sex. Sometimes it is just easier to be with someone who is the same as you in even the physical sense. Even in those circumstances they don't want to be used for sex in any way because in the end it doesn't feel good inside for the soul. Again just my opinion on that subject.
For a long time, I became very distraught about letting a man close to my heart in this realm since let's face it I was hurt from my very start on here. I don't feel like going into details but let's just say that it took a kind bdsm Master for months to make me see that I deserve better not only on Second Life but in real life as well. When you around someone of the attracted gender of your liking who doesn't see you as some pixel sexual object then it changes you in a massive way. Unfortunately, that doesn't stop the gender you desire from doing their best to wiggle their way into your virtual bed. I guess it is a lot like when you in a bar in real life where you are drunk and some handsome dude comes up to you talking all sweet until he gets you to take him back to your place, his place, or a hotel room. Guess what though, you have to sober up in the morning and face yourself in the mirror. The question is: what do you want to see in that mirror the next morning? Personally, I'd rather be able to hold my head up and face myself straight on in the mirror instead of feeling awful for doing some stupid sexual act with someone who don't give a rat's butt about me. One thing people have to decide when they come on Second Life is if they want love from others or if they want to run around having nothing but fun. Only time this realm is fun with no emotions is when you do nothing but roleplay on here or unless you some tinman with no heart. Remember though, if you make mistakes along the way then chalk it up as just that and move forward since it is better for everyone involved in whatever mistakes you make.

All written in this post are pure opinions and not attacks on anyone so no hate messages now please. I let everyone on Second Life live whatever lives they choose to lead on there. Unless you mess with my life on there then we have a serious problem. Simply think of this blog as just that and you can close the window to think of all I say as stupid if you not like it.

Best Place to Take Pics
Even since I started Second Life a year ago, I have only found one place that has been known to be the place where the best snapshots of me have come out. I guess everyone would say that it is the windlight settings of this place that causes that but believe me it not. The one thing about me is that I am not much of a fan of sims making my light settings change a lot since it can become quite annoying. However I have come to just deal with slowly every single sim I go to often changing to the windlight thing. I have no qualms against it at all. It simply that I rather keep the sun settings I have chosen. Mine are always set to TOR Sunset Pinker for sun setting and Pond for water settings. You play around with those settings at the bottom of your Phoenix viewer (not sure if it in other viewers) then you come to find the perfect lighting that your avatar looks best in. Now I love The Pixel Bean's scenery which I have come to believe no matter how much it changes that it is the picturesque surroundings. I been going there since pretty much my first month in Second Life. It's a place you are pretty much drawn to and keep coming back because it is beyond extraordinary. If you not been there then I highly recommend it. Just remember if you go to make sure to take your pics of your avatar there. No where compares to how pics come out there. I have several but I just took a new one this early morning because I was hanging out with all who are there and couldn't resist. You almost glow in every pic taken there. It must be all the fresh Second Life air there.

Relationships on SL
I am the first to admit that falling in love on Second Life is not easy since I have been through the wringer many a time on here already. As they say it takes two to tango, well it takes two people on Second Life to be in love. Too many people on here tend to hide behind a facade where they hide a lot about their real life and that is like the first signs of trouble when getting into a relationship on here. In my opinion, if you can't share your real life with someone you with then don't even bother starting a Second Life relationship. Someone is bound to get hurt playing that non-sense. I know a few people on here who have fallen in love then met each other in real life because that is the way it should be. How can you say you love someone if you don't even want to meet them in the real world? Yes it is scary to venture from the pixel world to real world but that should be a risk you willing to take when you decide to be with someone on Second Life. Love shouldn't be some arm candy type of deal. If you want arm candy then go link together a bunch of actual candy and put it on your arm but don't use another human being behind these pixels to be that for you. Also you have to respect each other's fault and love each other more for those not so great things about another person. Pretty much everyone will fall down during their time on Second Life where they will make mistakes they never wished they did. However it takes special people to survive those times and love another person fully. I been blessed to meet people who love me no matter what and trust me I have made many flops in only a year on Second Life. I've also been lucky to meet a man who has changed my life on there. It takes many crossing of my fingers to hope that he will love and adore me for a very long time. He sees me past my pixels even if he worships my pixels but he loves the real me. I've told him a whole lot about my real life which not once has it changed his feelings for me. A rare thing to find in this fake world of Second Life. When you find it though then you hold on tight and when you make mistakes along the way it makes your tummy ache inside. Trust me if you do something stupid in an Second Life relationship and it don't make you feel like you going to throw up then you doing something wrong. Love on here is all about the heart, soul, and personality while roaming around behind a pixel facade.

1 Year Rez Day of SL
What words are there to describe the past year on Second Life? Can you really summarize it into a few choice words? Apparently it is simply impossible to do that since I have tried to think up just a few words but am unable to. Although the word "epic" does come to mind which I am sure a lot of Second Lifers can agree with me on that. It is much like real life in many ways if you allow yourself to not try to separate both lives. People often put in their profiles that they separate both worlds but to be honest I feel they are all in denial those who do that. Whether we like it or not, both lives are going to combine at some point unless you are a bot. You need to be like your real self when in Second Life if you want to survive here. Drama will come and heartbreaks will occur but in the end it all irons itself out just like in real life. Even roleplayers can't truly separate themselves from the real world on here. One time or another you will meet friends on there that you want to share your real life with and even yearn to meet in real life. To celebrate my rez day, I just spent time with 2 of my dearest friends and I did my modeling work on there. It was just another day but a special one. So in ending of my 1st Year Rez Day I decided that I am going to show everyone how I looked a year ago on Second Life before I got the new skin, shape, and neko wear. All I remember from back then when it came to getting clothes is that I started at Freebie Dungeon which is still around. Enjoy the look into the past. hehe
